The device of recovering methanol from methanol purge gas was designed by JX Equipment in July 2012. By adding pre-heater, synthetic tower, cooler and separator and other system equipment on methanol purge gas discharge pipeline, it can increase the methanol conversion rate from 80% to 90%, and then increase the recovery and use of methanol purge gas. Meanwhile, the device can increase autoclaved gas heat exchange rate, and make more efficient use of waste-gas resources, and improve the economic benefits by saving energy, reducing emission and decreasing production costs.

The device was granted the utility model patent by SIPO of China on February 13, 2013, and has been successfully used in the methanol business.
